My sense of purpose through art is to invoke an emotion, whether it be nostalgia, comfort, or validation. I strive to achieve a level in my art where I can be free to express and be understood while also consistently aiming to improve my skill.I specialize in art through many different forms and mediums. I machine sew and/or handmake costumes and props, as well as work on illustration and fine arts both digitally and with traditional mediums. I also manage an online presence to showcase my work, (mainly with costumes, as well as both photo and video editing), linked below.

2023-24 AP Art & Design 2D Sustained Investigation: Personal Influence of Slavic Culture

As a first generation Russian-Ukrainian immigrant, Slavic culture played a fundamental role in my childhood. I wanted to explore memories, specifically, the role that culture played in my memories or in my experiences. This led me to think, how can I create a series of art that was unique to myself but could also invoke a sense of comfort and nostalgia for others, particularly to Slavic people who shared similar experiences?
